I also know I'slancy and LD from SWFans, and some other people I have seen ehre and there….

Hmmm…. how did I find Epics?

Well, about six years ago, for some odd reason, I decided to look for a Star Wars RP board. Somewhere along the line I found a place called Star Wars Tales, I think it was a link from the Oaken Dawn… or perhaps it was the other way around. Anyway, I was here for awhile, there for awhile. Every time I get an awesome idea for a star wars character I come here.

This is, quite simply, *the* Star Wars role-playing board. I hope that all the newcomers will stay as long as I have… just without the breaks of a year or two between posts

 Ahem.

I toddled on over here from SwFans for a few posts in an anniversary thread here in… 2006, was it? In any case, I've been lurking on a more frequent basis recently, and have been toying with the idea of actually joining in on the fun here. Not necessarily with this name, though. I'll need to do a bit more lurking to get a feel for the place, the timeline, et cetera.

 I do very much like the quality of the writing here. That is all.

Hm.  Okay.  How I found the place —> www.google.com, maybe.  I don't remember.  I am not a huge computer expert.  Or fan, for that matter. *hides* One of the few reasons I use this machine is to show up and write in R. P. G. type places.  I'd been looking for a decent Star Wars place to write in ever since I started writing in such things at all.  There have been several years of me writing in fantasy type stories while looking for this place.  I got desperate and tried a few places, but they didn't hold together for very long.  One bored night at work, though, I found this place. "Star Wars Epics, hm?  Reading the F. A. Q… Hm!  Quality over quantity, actual humans in charge of the place who actually pay attention to inner workings, apparently awesome writers all over the place, a beautiful mix of casual and excellence?  But what's with all of these human characters?  I shall have to inject some cool non-humans."

How I found Epics? One response - TRF, or The Rebel Faction.  Been RPing there, as Sam knows, for 2+ years now, and finally made the jump over here as well.

I admit to finding this place by googling myself Well googling some articles I've written for a site called Den of Geek, anyway, to see where links to them were turning up. Here, it turns out.

Now I'm wondering around looking slightly bewildered at all the links

I have been roleplaying with a site called Tales of the Outer Rim for a couple of years, but after sputtering along for a while now it seems to have gone completely dark, so hopefully fate has brought me a replacement?

Now if I can just work out how to go about getting started…
