I was looking for a Sci-Fi RPG board because I haven't done any writing in -forever-. I'd found this RPG exchange board thingy and posted asking if anyone knew of a good Sci-Fi board for someone of middling RPG talent who was looking to improve.

I checked back later that day and only one person had replied, suggesting this place and saying it was great except that the admin were grumpy. I dunno who it was, and I've lost the link to that board. I always forget to bookmark stuff, and my browser's history is only set for a one-day memory.


I have no clue what they meant by grumpy admin–everyone here's been super nice to me. Corran suggested that maybe they had been rude to an admin and gotten a sharp reply. Although I don’t know why they'd suggest it as a good board if they were pissed off…

Either way I'm totally grateful that they showed me this site … and that the name is so easy to remember, because I had forgotten to bookmark this place too and couldn’t find it for a while the next day. :glance

I saw Cyan log into gmail with the name cyanmadine which she really doesn't use anywhere else as far as I know.  So I asked her about it and she quickly hid the window and said something about how I wasn't supposed to know about it…  I finally dragged it out of her that it was the e-mail she used for the forum she role plays on.  So of course I try to find said forum (for stalking of course).  I Googled lots of things, like "Star Wars forum" and stuff.  Finally I tried "Cyan Star Wars forum" and up it came!  It was a day or so later I realized she had a direct link from her website to here…  oh well.
