Tales is an Affaliate of JOC where i have been a member of of ages… also voted a few times for tales in the various BOTB you entered…
but didnt join until i dropped by to wish Corran a happy Bday

Well I don't recall how I found the ezboards.

But I did end up with a forum.

Computer died.

Came back and forum still there but no trafic.

So I started to ezboard hop

One day I was posting adverts for my favorte band and network marketing opportunity.  Hope I don't get globally banned for that.

As I was posting my adverts I saw a Adrmal Mudd posting adverts and I followed him here.

PS thanks for sticking up for me   It can be rough in sales.

Signs like we shoot every thrird sales man and the second one just left. . . .

What really buggs me is when insurance agents have signs no socilations!!!

Got bored with the boards I'd been frequenting and decided to look for a paradigm shift.  What better subject than Star Wars?  So I did a search of EZBoard for star wars roleplaying games.  Your's wasn't the first on the list but it was the last one from the list I checked out.

How did you find Epics?

Well it's a long, boring, drawn out, overly melo-dramatic, and ridiculous story.  Ok not really ridiculous but definitely the other descriptors.

Long ago, I found that I enjoyed writing and a few other people thought I was relatively good at it.  The problem was I was finding it harder and harder to just sit down and write something. My well of creativity was drying up fast. Something needed to be done.

I heard from a friend the concept of RPG forums on this wonderful and deadly thing that we call the internet, and decided to strike out and find a site that suited my interest.  I needed external stimuli.  Like-minded people.  Kindred spirits if you will.

Lo, I crossed the vast ocean of substandard sites.  Wading confidently through the mire of typos, stutter-posts, and complete gibberish until I chanced upon this site, and quite by accident no less.

I was looking for the TROOPS quicktime movie and for some odd reason I ended up here.  I nearly wept when I began reading the rich and detailed character biographies and did weep reading the outstanding posts in the galaxy section.  Glorious multiple page narratives that strung together into a complex yet discernable story.  Some of them even spanning the events transpiring in other threads.  And what was more, the admins actually encouraged rather than shunned the length.

I knew it then, just as I know it now.  I was home.  The rest, as they say, is history.

Really simple…I just clicked "Search" and typed in "Star Wars"  Tales was pretty high on the list so here i am.

I've always looked at Star Wars Tales, and while it's kicked butt on all my little attempts at starting a Star Wars rpg, I've never joined.  I figured that I might as well submit to my defeat and join the rest…

Wow, it's been a real long time since i've rpg'd and it feels good!  (About a year)  If anyone cares, or reads this… But it's now time to get things goin' so I'm done here.
