You can see how many years after an event our story plays by the number of years at the beginning of the entry. The year in brackets behind shows the official year of the New Republic calendar. The New Republic decided, that the battle of Yavin was the beginning of a new age, so it’s the year 0. The years before the battle are named BBY = Before Battle of Yavin, the ones after are named ABY = After Battle of Yavin.

Later he leaves Fellowship to face and defeat Kabal at Halcyon Manor. Dath Venemous personality becomes dominant and infiltrates the Jedi Academy, dueling with Adena Taddro and Rax Alateen. Personalities Merge, becomes Force Balancer, Sent to Naboo with new Sith Saevita (Adena). (16 ABY)

1 year after  Admiral Maxwell Gandel's 105th Imperial Fleet returns from a seven year exile and is engaged by the First Battle Group of the New Republic Navy under the command of Admiral Chance Tate. Several squadrons of the NR's Airgroup including the Womprat Squadron along with their capital ships defeat Gandel's forces and their pirate allies, rescuing Admiral Gabriella Nerys who had been abducted by Imperial Commandos. The 105th Fleet was last seen hyperjumping for parts unknown. (16 ABY)
