I saw someone asking for this script in the signature request thread so I figured to ask if the admins would consider making this a sticky or adding the link to the script to the Epics weblinks or whatever section is most suited.

Instructions

1.  Whatever service you use for hosting your images must allow the use of php files or this script will be useless to you.

2.  Download the rotator script from my the Epics link, then unzip the file.  For the sake of keeping things simple, just save it to your desktop.

3.  Create a new folder (directory) to store the images you want to rotate.  For example, you might name the folder (directory) mysigs.  

4.  Upload the rotator.php file you just downloaded and unzipped to the newly created folder (directory).

5.  Now, upload the images you want to rotate to that very same folder.

6.  The url you will use for your signature, for example, will look like this:


Note:  Be sure to change the url to your own and remove the *'s from the coding shown above


You can rotate as many images as you want with this script, and the images do not need to be the same sizes.

This script is useful for custom signatures, banners, and other images you might want to rotate on your website, forum, or user accounts.

I have just two sigs (this one and Tac's stickman one), so it makes no sense for me. But it's a nice idea.

Heh!  Love the poem  Any way that you could zip up that pdf file and send it to my email?  I click the link but for some strange reason it freezes everything then shuts down and I can't view it.

I do remember that thread, though.  It was fun (highly intimidating) and my part was too small to be remembered  But it was still fun!

Okay, so that obviously doesn't work anymore. I'm going to see if I can get one set up in our new system. I'll make it available to anyone with multiple sigs who wants to avail themselves of it, if I can get it working.
