Skills: Given her background, she's a compitent farmhand and able to fix basic equipment, using civilian-grade tools. Thanks to her human father, has been taught how to survive in wilderness, along with basic medical skills.

Personality: Adventureous and ambitious, she seems to contain boundful ammounts of energy even when she's tired. Typically described for her creative mind and resourceful imagination. Not too shy when it comes to a new face - depending on the intimidation of the person, the girl seems to warm easier to a human face, assumed because of shielding by her parents, from the multitude other species that graced the planet.

Appearance: From toe to top, it's clear she has a kind of 'runaway' look to her, but that's far from the facts. She wears a dark grey/blue cloth-based shoe, that ties together with bell-bottom style trousers. Patches sewn into the fabric indicate the misuse of the garment and other unique additions such as white cloth ties around the ankles give her a kind of unique apparel. Her top is white, of similar fabric to the ankle guards, and widens at the stomach into a cone along with the arms, looking well too loose on her body. As per usual to the species, she bares head wear. Although this is a unique home-made band across the forehead, and paper-thin fabric that laces back to loop towards the ends of her tails. The band supported by a sterdier leather-type material, that blends a little with her skintone.

Unique physical characteristics: Twin (darker) blue bands towards the base of tchun-tchin, the lower of the two slightly larger in appearance, typically hidden by her headwear. Tiger-type stripes towards the tips, until they are completely consumed by the lighter tone. The lekku are unusually long for her age, already appearing to be fully-grown and reaching to her calves for her height.

History: Estimated to be Born 4 ABY, on the planet Roon in the outer rim systems. She was presumed to of been within a family of spice smuggling twi'leks, using the Death Wind Corridor hyperspace route, when either problems involving the asteroids encircling the planet arose, or pirates attacking the ship she was on as a child. Eitherway, wreakage of two escape pods and a third surviving pod were found in the tatoonie desert, from which she was found by a human farmer. Mark Carleec, to be her adopted father. When brought back, the pair were overjoyed by the girl, taking her under their arms as their child in 5ABY, naming her "Joy".

She was brought back to his wife, Susan, who was unable to bare children due to a medical condition. The adopted girl was cared for and kept safe, taught to work and life happily as a moisture farmer, one of the few available legal jobs for a girl of that age. As she aged, they bonded. Joy learned survival skills and such from her father, becomming a bit of a tomboy by 12ABY, at the age of eight.

When she was nine, Susan took a turn for the worst and the year Joy turned ten (14ABY), her adopted mother was pronounced dead. As she grew older, she helped keep her father from dropping into depression. But ultimately at the age of twelve (current date, 16ABY) she was forced to leave her known home in search for her true parents, a tough-love policy taken-up by her depressed Father.

Having bought a ticket to the planet Coruscant using the money provided to her in the family's savings, she is now seeking her place in the universe, searching for answers to her questions.

Oh, a twelve years old is something new.

The bio looks fine to me. Just that the planet Tatooine is under Imperial blockade in our galaxy. So she left before? Otherwise it would be tough to leave.

Well, i would guess there would be less than legal ways to get off the planet (not all of which thesible for a 12yr old i suppose.), but i wasnt aware of any blockade.

Technically, she left 16 ABY, and if the blockade was in effect, would be rather difficult indeed to avoid, but not impossible with patience. Alternitively, you could imagine a easily-pursuaded girl to be approached by some shady individual offering a way off, without any of the catches.

As i would guess, the universe wouldn't batter an eyelid for another homeless or orphaned child.

I originally imagined Susan with cancer in mind, perhaps Oval, or otherwise. If that answers your question.

Thanks, i always use research on the side and have always been a big fan of the species, hence my confidence in playing such a potientially questionable character.
