Re: Star Trek Beyond trailer

Trailer looks good.

But I am especially interested in seeing if I can recognize any of the scenery in the movie. My understanding is that some of film was shot locally.

This makes me sad, knowing "Chekov" is dead now. I don't know if I can watch it.

Yes, when I see him in a seen, it's still like: "I can't believe he's gone now."

But watching and enjoying it, will be a little like honouring his work.

Re: Star Trek Beyond trailer

Saw the movie yesterday. Sadly I have to say it's the weakest of the three.

It had a big plot hole in my opinion. A lot of action with a little story. And most of the action scenes were in darkness so my friends and I were wondering why they made it in 3D at all.

But it was good to see the actors. Bones was my favourite character. And it was a little bittersweet to see Anton so full of life.

The movie is dedicated to him and Leonard Nimoy.
