Gavin, rough draft in the private chat.  Let me know what you think.  Changed up the dynamic a little.  Instead of wife and kids, its sister and niece.  I was writing the story in my head, and just couldn't get past that if Marcus' wife and children died that he's just go off with the NRI, or that if his kids survived…he'd abandon them.  I was having a really hard time with that future aspect of the story, and decided to go this way.  Dunno, makes it better in my head I guess.

You know Marcus, re-reading your post, it suddenly occurred to me that when you were giving Mabby the reasons why she shouldn't see her boyfriend Ben anymore, you ticked off the reasons using High Galactic: A, B, etc. I wonder if it would look more interesting if it were in given Aurabesh: Aurek, Besh, Cresh, etc.

I think another interesting thing to show would be the difference in the use of calendars. Marcus might accidentally use the Galactic Standard, when a majority on Safehaven use the Tapani calendar–with some even using some strange one that refers to a "Saturday".

Haven't forgotten about the post, just been insane with work and family last week.  Baby crawling, and new hire at work that I have to train.

Anyway.  I'm travelling starting sunday.  So i'll have no family and no work to distract me, and will be able to write my post without issue.  Should be up by monday.
