My thoughts to the Paris attacks
My thoughts are with the ones who lost family or friends.
A lot of people use the hashtag #prayforParis. I know it's a good intention behind it, but religious fanatics like the IS fighters brought this tragedy, so praying seems not right to me.
I'll go with "Nous sommes Paris" (We are Paris) because it's not an attack on Paris or France, but on our way of life. It could have been everyone of us… at a restaurant, on the street, at a concert or a football game.
Let's stand united against the tyranny of fantatics, who trying to force others into their restricted way of thinking. If we show fear, they will win.
Re: My thoughts to the Paris attacksI have no words, other than....I will stand with you.
Re: My thoughts to the Paris attacksAnd we shouldn't forget the attack in Beirut the day before, that the media has pretty much ignored.
Re: My thoughts to the Paris attacksI had to look that up, Sam. I had no idea.....
Re: My thoughts to the Paris attacksYes, we shouldn't. It was mentioned here in the news too.
Re: My thoughts to the Paris attacksMy heart goes out to all of France!
Re: My thoughts to the Paris attacksWhat happened in Beirut and Paris was horrible. I heard about Paris first but Beirut was mentioned eventually.
I agree with you, Corran, about not showing fear. Fear is always a bad position to operate from.
