Oh, frak...

Re: Oh, frak...
If you could only fathom the ghost that became you in my head, that’s haunted me a lifetime…*disengages the safety on his side arm*
…you'll find that it blurs the line of whom this round will send to hell first.

*he was one that always found it difficult to suppress a smile around her person when she got like that*…I see that you fought yourself off the ice, then.

*scratches her head puzzled as she looks over the results*Sooo…which one of you won?
All I see on the floor are a few puddles. :p

Re: Oh, frak...
True, true. In reality I can't honestly argue with you, Miss Maurer. But IC; I can propose that the opposition simply reconsider our terms of their unconditional surrender, as its futile for them to keep resisting our planetary bombardments and drone attacks. :p

Re: Oh, frak...
I can say we’ve (Imperials) learned as much from history, Miss Maurer.Yes, Corellia has proved itself again and again to be very resilient against our military might; and far too costly for the Empire to have kept up such impotent assaults on your world.
We both quite understand now that to keep Corellia intact is not only beneficial to you, but it is of little value to the Empire if not acquired intact.
So here we are, you and I; light years apart and strangely with open dialogue through this makeshift message board.
*looks around the red landscape a bit before turning her attention back to Sara*
Hence, we desert open battleground, and have instead progressed to espionage, dressed under cloak and armed with dagger.
*bows her head in respect to the Corellian fighter for her proven resiliency and bravery under open fire*
I commend you with envy, Miss Maurer, for I shall never have the opportunity in meeting you face to face. That is, unless Corellia becomes part of the Empire..lol
*Shakes head at that probability happening anytime soon*
Wish we could meet under different circumstances, really.

Re: Oh, frak...
"Be careful what you wish for - it could come true"In any case you shouldn't wish to meet me on a Corellia that's part of the Empire… for I would rather die than bend my knee to it, and I'd take as many of your kind with me as I could. There are things worth dying for, you know… and I have never been one for sneaking around and backstabbing my foes.

Re: Oh, frak...
Backstabbing… Hmm.. *rolls the word around in her head* …yes.Yes, that is a pretty good analogy of the type of warfare that I am playing around with.
But for the life of me, I couldn’t think of the more proper word describing cloak and dagger, like clandestine. It was lingering obscured there at the tip of my mind; just that it wasn’t popping out the other day.
I’m referring to a cold type of warfare between our states/nations/empires. This indeed makes operatives or soldiers if you will, use unorthodox methods in achieving objectives. Well, that’s to say where snipers too become the necessary soldiers/operatives of the this cold war front, no?
Well, that’s neither here or there as I’m not from your universe anyway, Miss Maurer. My Empire is quite different than canon. So my existence can only be documented in Mirror World here. And sure, here too in the general posting forums, like we currently are doing.
Do know that I am well aware of your wonderful writing abilities, Miss Maurer. As thus, I truly do (mean it) wish that we would meet IC under different circumstances.
Nevertheless, I do enjoy just toying around the pretense that we all here do somehow co-exist in the same imaginary universe. I’m guessing it’s safe call this here, daydreaming?

Re: Oh, frak...
Sure, a sniper is a welcomed asset in a war that's not fought openly. But it's the sniper's choice how he will use his skills, or for whom.I think I'll have a look on your Empire sometime, to see that difference for myself. And who knows, maybe we will meet one day. Thanks for the praise, anyway.
May you never stop (day-)dreaming!
