She thought to herself that this base must hold a lot of secrets to have this much firepower protecting it. Those secrets would have to wait, there was only one priority and this would be the assassination, no distractions. Sangra got up from the cockpit and left to check on her crew leaving Kim, her Human Replica Droid, to power down the ship.
The loud hums of the engines ceases to echo through the ship and now the beeps and whistles of her R8 droid Bemo could be heard traveling down the hallway to alert the rest of the crew that they had reached their destination. On the monitor in the hallway hit the different cameras internally and externally to the ship, Sangra saw the door in the corner of the hanger open and a squad of Rebel personal dressed in military garb carrying blaster rifles entered along with a number of loading devices in tow. She finished shutting down her check of the other sub-systems of the ship and continued walking down the narrow hallway till she met in the main room.
In the main room of the YT2000 the crew was assembled around the table. Sangra didn’t have to stress the important of this mission to them she could see it all in their eyes, they were ready. She instead just looked at them all and gave them a nod before heading to the walkway. The ramp descended the moment after Sangra applied her breathing mask and sealed herself up and departed from the ship followed by her crew of Sythis’ minions.
So far the dark lord’s plan was going smoothly. She had been tasked at eliminating one of the servants of Sythis who now defected and was being held under guard waiting to be taken to Coruscant for trial. She had reviewed data card and gathered the readout on the rebel base. Anyone could perform a fool-hardy attempt to go after the target and with a Rebel station full of resistance and would surely die. No, Sangra had learned to have patience and remain in the shadows till the moment; the moment that they are the most vulnerable to strike; and inflict chaos.
The target’s transport was to be arriving 30 minutes later. The troops under her command had doing everything they were instructed. When they were stopped by the cautions rebel boarding crew, they had fed the credentials to the commanding officer and hadn’t aroused any suspicion. Minutes later they received confirmation from the security group and took the large crates of supplies for the alliance. After verifying that they had been accounted for, scanned, they were successfully taken to the medical level of the base.
Sangra continued breathing through her breathing mask until her wrist com blinked green. The signal was from Bemo, her R8 droid, who had been monitoring their location from the ship and let them know when they should strike. The dark lord’s scientist on Vjun had managed to provide them with sealed bags that would protect them from scans for a short amount of time. It was at that time that Kim and Sangra both unsealed themselves from there hidden compartments in the supply crates her supposed smuggling crew were providing.
Sangra immediately opened herself up to the force allowing her to sense hundreds of beings on this station. She refined herself focusing on the immediate room and didn’t sense anything. Unclipping her saber and she began carving a small human sized hole so that Kim and her could fit through. As soon as she finished she placed the saber on her side and used the force to pull the metal toward her so that she mad minimal noise. Sangra looked at Kim, and motioned that they verified that they were in the correct location. They peered around looking for the vent detailed in the data card. Finding it they pulled off the vent and went in and closed it in back of them and proceeded into the vents. They were behind schedule; no matter they would have to improvise.
The Sarah made her way to the locker room. She was walking at a brisk rushed pace. The sweat trickled down from her brow as she turned the corner.
Sarah’s service to the dark lord had provided her family with riches back on Nar Shaddaa, but also provided her with continued fear as she would be called upon at a moments notice to perform the Dark Lords task or suffer the fate. She had ‘processed’ a number of accidents within the New Republic while on missions and had believed that the Republic was getting suspicious but they had nothing on her so she was free to proceed as normal. She was called upon a day before to meet with Strive and give Strive two New Republic outfits and clearance to transport a prisoner.
Her entire family was at stake, there was no room for error. She got into the room, “Where is this guy?” Strive was late, no matter she knew what she had to do. She radioed in for his one of his recruits declaring the recruit needed to be reprimanded for leaving his blaster pistol. Little did the recruit know Sarah had stolen it earlier while everyone was asleep in the barracks…
Sangra continued making her way through the vents followed by Kim until she reached the room. She clicked her comm to signal Bemo to begin looping the camera inside the room. Noticing a smaller New Republic marine radio someone. Twenty seconds later another marine entered.
“Sir what’s going on sir? You requested me?” The confused marine said.
“Yes you are relieved of your duties.” The dark lord’s spy replied before shooting him with his blaster in the head.
The lifeless body fell forward before Sangra descended from the vents. Immediately by Kim as the trooper raised the pistol at Sangra
“Strive I presume?”
Strive must have been the alias the Dark Lord gave to her contact on the ship. Sangra gave her a nod as Kim began circling Sythis spy from behind revealing a blade in her hand. “Yes as are you…” Sangra said watching the eyes of the woman widen. It took only a second and the life less body of the Sythis’ spy was lifeless in the ground as well.
She snapped her attention to Kim who was already cleaning off the blade. “She was already under investigation by the new Republic it was only a matter of time. The problem is dealt with, now on to our mission.” Sangra didn’t know what to think after what transpired. The Dark Lord needed secrecy and to this extent worried Sangra for a brief moment before refocusing. Kim was her droid yet the Sangra knew the droid still had superior authority to Sythis and would inform him of any less than satisfactory emotions.
It took a few minutes before Sangra and Kim had finished disposing of the bodies in the vent and was kneeling as she slipped back on the helmet as she heard an unfamiliar voice in back of her. “What are you doing?” Her immediate thought was a Jedi was behind her. Had she concentrated so hard to hide her presence form the Jedi that she didn’t realize someone had entered? No she couldn’t have been that careless could she? Sangra pondered this as she continued to tie on the boot slipping a knife from her sleeve. She then began to sensing how many others were around her. She didn’t sense anything as she turned to see Kim already slipping on the other marine’s outfit.
“You two, grab your gear we have been waiting for you. The package is arriving.”
“Sorry sir, I was reprimanding Miles over contacting his girlfriend. Don’t worry sir he didn’t give the location.” Kim replied still using the dead trooper’s voice. Exchanging looks at both Sangra and the marine who had entered.
“You have allowed this mission to be compromised. When Captain Antilles, hears about this…you better have a good law droid. We’ll deal with both of you once we get to Coruscant. For now I don’t want any other distractions, game-face time!” The superior marine shouted before leaving the room.
“You know you have to stop doing that. It’s starting to get old.” Sangra said to Kim.
“What can I say my primary objective is to kill…” Kim replied in a now deep man-like tone as she let out a smile under her mask. “I figure one of us have to speak I figure it be me, don’t need two mute marines. “How do I look?” Kim said posing in the Marine garb. “Like a nerf-hurder.” Jaden said as the two headed to down the hallway to meet up with their crew…

Re: Republic Assassination: Death of Courage
The two assassins clothed in New Republic Special Forces gear proceeded down the narrow hallway of the New Republic space ship until they grouped with the rest of the escort group. Immediately they fell in line and proceeded down to the hanger in pairs of two. Sangra kept a keen eye out for her surroundings particularly her new secondary targets she would have to neutralize. As the escort group besides Kim were now hostile targets. They proceeded into a mid-sized hanger adorned with various new republic starships docked with various species and droids busying themselves among them. The escort squad composed of 14 halted and stood at attention awaiting the transport to arrive.A few minutes a large rectangular transport could be seen approaching the hanger. Sangra knew the make and model as a CR90 Corvette by its red new Republic streak alongside its hull. This ship though less maneuverable by regular standards had impressive armor and an even more armament attached as Sangra proceeded monitoring the cockpit with the rest of the squad. The large corvette came to a halt a few meters in front of them. Sangra looked up at the pilots of the ship as they were flipping switches powering down the corvette’s sub routines.
The ramp to the large transport dropped down from the bellow of the ship. It hissed till it reached the ground of the feet of the escort commanding officer. Within a split second Sangra sensed what she had expected immediately shut her presence down in the force. She reopened her eyes making sure she focused on remaining minimal in the force. Her eyes rewarded her with what the force had already alerted her as the two Jedi walked down the ramp to meet them. The taller bulky figure one wore a large brown cloak casting a shadow over his face concealing their appearance at first. The other smaller most likely a padawan wore a red cape dragged behind her as the space station’s crew men began refueling the corvette.
The two Jedi stood at the bottom of the ramp shortly before removing their hoods; the master a tall Red Nikto in black and red rebel assault armor below his cloak, the Padawan a small Twi’lek Sangra had set eyes on before. Sangra was glad that the mask was on because she couldn’t hide her surprise on her face as hey eyebrow shot up. Shanta, the Twi’lek she thought she had captured from their assault on Yavin 4, was standing right in front of here; the yellow Twi’lek in a purple and red outfit.
How? Sangra thought to herself before the commanding officer of the group stood in front of the Jedi saluting. Master Di’Kloop I trust your trip was without misfortune. The Nikto let out a small smile, “Nothing we couldn’t handle right my apprentice.” He said giving a fatherly tone to the young padawan. The young Twi’lek rubbed the small bandage that was on her cheek while she looked down at the ground before looking up at her master “Yes, master she said hesitantly.” Trouble in paradise, interesting, Sangra said to herself noting the resistance for Shasta to respond. The Nikto then turned his attention to a door opening in the far corner.
Sangra and the rest of the troops turned their attention to the prisoner an elder human male with grey streaks in his hair and restraints on his arms being escorted by two guards. He walked with his head up as if proud of himself.
So proud are you? Sangra thought to herself as she squeezed her hand into a fist. If Sangra was anything besides human she’d have snarled at him. The elderly prisoner stopped in front of the two Jedi holding his restraints out to them.
“Ahh yes my honor guard; one Master Jedi and his apprentice. I would have hoped you came earlier, the food on this station isn’t up to par by even Jawa standards.”
The Nitko frowned. “We are here to ensure your safety to Coruscant before your grand trial-”
“Oh spare me Jedi with your hollow words. The Republic made me quite the offer in order to have an identity and a case against the dark lord. I managed accounts for the Dark Lord for decades. If you only knew how many tired into the very core of the Republic, no one can touch me and I will be looked in history as a hero!”
Sangra stood there as the Dark Lords servant continued preaching while the Nikto pushed his fingers on the bridge of his nose as he shut his eyes most likely disgusted. Although Sangra didn’t know whether the Nikto was more disgusted with the man or the length the republic went to talk.
“Indeed. Troopers please make sure he’s secure on the ship” the Nikto Jedi said with a smirk on his face to the captain. Sangra and Kim moved forward with the rest of the troops.
The large corvette soon sealed up and departed the Republic station bound for Coruscant. The New Republic wasn’t saving any expenses to make sure this was a need to know basis. Besides the pilots there were only a handful of others on the ship. Inside Sangra sat in the trooper chamber outside the prisoner level entrance, looking out a window next to Shasta. She hadn’t planned on running into a familiar face this would complicate her plans. No matter if she had to she would kill everyone on the ship. Her master didn’t take kindly to failure and retribution would be grand. First thing was to shut down the communication on the ship. She knew where she had to go and took a long stare at Shasta before heading towards the engineers level…
