The BreakFamily drama. Aria didn’t understand it until she was much older. Even with all the fighting between her parents and her uncle. When she was younger, she loved them all. But that changed as she grew older. There was anger and mistrust between her father and her uncle; it spilled over into Aria. Of course she sided with her father. Especially after Uncle Miroslav betrayed her family, it was an embarrassment having a traitor in the family.
The Daughter of AleronAt her father’s request, Aria entered the Legislative Youth Program. She was good at debating with her father, although Aria really thought of it as arguing. She absolutely hated it. Aleron really wanted his daughter to become a Senator. It took her a year to convince her father she wasn’t going to the Senate. But something needed to be done. Miroslav was a disgrace, tarnishing the family. Aria was the family’s only hope to restore the family name.
As the feud between Aleron and Miroslav began to turn ugly Aria’s future career was quickly altered. Aleron and Edie decided it would be best to keep her away from that arena. So it was the military academy for Aria. She hated the Imperial Navy as well. Disappointing her father a second time was unthinkable, so she kept her feelings to herself. Despite how she was treated by her male counterparts, Aria graduated the top female in her class.
After the Battle of Endor, Aria returned home to Hanna City. Only to find that the feud between her father and uncle had diminished somewhat. Miroslav visited several times and everyone seemed to be getting along. Aria, however, was less inclined to trust Miroslav so readily. She still felt he was an embarrassment to the family, even with the Empire’s defeat, and her feelings showed on several occasions. Aria despised him. She spared no emotion when the family received the news that he was dead.
ShockIt wasn’t long after Miroslav’s death that Aleron began acting strangely. Aria didn’t notice right away but her father seemed afraid. She tried to talk with him about it but it got her nowhere. Not being sure how to react Aria decided to keep an eye on him. Quietly. Unfortunately it wasn’t enough. Her father died two years after her uncle. It was a devastating blow for Aria, who began to suspect her uncle’s death was somehow connected. She felt it necessary to inquire into the circumstances of his death. It has led to many questions. Questions that Aria is determined to get the answers to.
